Randomly Generated Boyar
Each Boyar is a unique individual in spite of it's mechanical nature. Each has a unique conscience, which is formed by the variations in it's creation as well as accumulation of life experiences. There may be other factors but at this point it is a mystery. The Boyar are not only individual in mind (if not soul...if they have one, that is) but also in body, each a masterwork of artifice. Vanity and a desire to stand out no two is ever identical. Some are clearly mechanical, more akin to crude automaton, at least in appearance while others are intricate and amazing works of baroque art.

Personality
1
Arrogant: The Boyar is arrogant and will openly flaunt his mechanical superiority, which give it the right to lord over all lesser mortals. Which is to say all mortals.
2
Violent: In spite of the association of machines with coldness, this Boyar is easily roused to anger and will lash out and destroy any affront.
3
Distant: Like the machine that it is, this particular Boyar is distant and dislike interactions, especially with mortals.
4
Pompous Wind-Up Bag: There is nothing this Boyar love more than make rousing speeches about it’s own greatness.
5
Hysterical: This machine is more unstable than most men or women and is likely prone to mood swings. Stay away, it might suddenly have a fancy for impalement.
6
Cold and Methodical: This particular Boyar is more machine than artificial human and approach things with cold detachment. It is likely very intelligent.
7
Bloodthirsty: This Boyar is always looking for an excuse to start a fight, a war, a duel or a genocide. You name it and it will want to break it’s face.
8
Insincerely Humble: This one tries, it really does. It want to be humble and embody good value but the mechanical cultural of the Boyar have ingrained in it the same smugness as all the others.
9
Scheming Boot-Licking: There is nothing more this Boyar love than flattery, political intrigue and backstabbing it’s way into power.
10
Chivalrous: Nobility, questing, defending the people and the honor of his Iron Tsar is all this Boyar live for. It has good intentions, maybe, but it’s patriotism and black-and-white values blind it to the realities of Nezdohva.
11
Quixotic: Like the above, but with added delusions and daydreaming subroutines. May attempting to fight windmills, thinking them to be misbegotten.
12
Sensation Freak: This particular Boyar would gladly trade half of it’s abilities if it mean enjoying pleasures such as food or sex. It likely has a few special...modifications...that other Boyar find disturbing and/or in poor taste.

Appearance
1
Crude: This Boyar looks like a crude approximation of a human being made of metal, with gears and pistons moving it’s limbs. It’s face is either inhuman or a cold, lifeless mask.
3-4
Mechanical Wonder: The Boyar is clearly an automaton but it is one of amazing craftsmanship. It could be piston-driven like the above result or make use of more delicate and complex clockwork. It’s face can be a cold lifeless mask or a helmet.
5-6
Android: The Boyar looks like a man (or woman) made of metal and other inorganic materials but otherwise most physical features are present enough for it to be recognizably attempting to resemble a human. It may attempt to enhance the resemblance with clothes or a wig.
7-8
Idealized Automaton: As the above, but the Boyar is made to resemble a metallic idealized man or woman, with beautiful feature and a metal skin sculpted to resemble muscles and/or the softer features of a woman. It’s face, while metallic, is quite expressive.
9-10
Baroque Automaton: This Boyar’s body is highly detailed and full of gorgeous details and embellishment one would see on an ancestral sword or suit of armor. It is possible that it is more like an android-type Boyar under it or it could simply have said armor be it’s skin.
11
Life-Like Android: Alchemically-treated plastic or silicone materials cover parts of or all the Boyar’s body, giving it a soft skin meant to emulate (very roughly) human flesh. It can most definitely pass for a human if it wear suitably heavy clothing.
12
Alien Design: This particular Boyar feels little need to emulate the human form, deeming it inferior. It revel in it’s mechanical nature and display blatantly inhuman features. Reroll again, on an odd number it is impossibly detailed and/or baroque and on an even number it is an ugly monstrosity of industrial parts.

Pressing Mission, Desire or Need
1-3
Service: The Boyar is currently with/for another and is on a quest to fulfill some purpose. This could be military or economic.
4-6
Destruction: Something angered the Boyar and it is currently attempting to destroy it. Alternatively, it is out to hunt some Misbegotten or Uncreated and could use help.
7-9
Diplomacy: There are diplomatic matters this Boyar need to attend to, either for its own agenda. Unfortunately it is ill-suited to the current ask.
10
Enjoyment: The Boyar is currently in need of a distraction, which can be anything which would be mundane to a mortal or something as disturbing as wanting to dissect people. For science.
11
Escape: The Boyar believe some rival has sent assassins and, worse, these assassins might actually be able of harming it.
12
Vacation: The Boyar is out on a ‘vacation’, so to speak. It is exploring the countryside or neighboring countries, assimilating new scenarios, new locations or foreign treatise on various subject pertaining to it’s interests.
D12
Deepest Desire
1
Glory: The Boyar seek the glory and appreciation of it’s peer, possibly even wanting to receive special honors from the Iron Tsar.
2
Power: This mechanical noble seek only to expand it’s personal and/or material power at all cost.
3
Reform: Somewhat an iconoclast, this Boyar is interested in changing one or more aspect of Nezdohvan society.
4
Humanity: Deep down, this Boyar seek to become human or something closer to a human.
5
Spirituality: Oddly enough, this Boyar seek some sort of divine experience. It want something transcendent, something to believe in, perhaps even an afterlife?
6
Unattainable Love: This Boyar has mechanical feeling for another robo-person, which clearly has no desire to engage in this kind of mortal behavior.
7
Forbidden Love: This machine has fallen in love with a mortal human and both for practical and societal reasons it is not allowed to pursue this love.
8
Wonder: This Boyar is bored out of it’s synthetic mind. It seek new experience in life, something to inspire it to new height of passion and creativity.
9
Revenge: Someone or something has slighted the Boyar and now all emotional processing power is dedicated to hating that thing and seeking it’s destruction.
10
Self-Improvement: The Boyar constantly seek to self-improve, either by learning new fighting styles to become a better warrior, by self-upgrading or simply by wanting to learn more.
11
Nothing: Deep down there is an unfillable void and lack of any true desire in the Boyar’s metal heart. It may or may not question if it is nothing more than a soulless machine.
12
Usurpation: It want to be the new Iron Tsar!
Statting the Boyar
The Boyar are, much like other monsters and NPC, separated into categories which approximate their average HD and stats. All Boyar are unharmed by non-magical weapons and require no sleep, food or air as per their automaton nature.- Boyar, Dokazan, Iztuknat and Moghust all refer to an ascending level of rank, prestige, skills and upgrade a Boyar has. Each can be modified into an Autocossack model by doubling it's movement speed.
- The Uchen are the erudite of Boyar society and while not true spellcasters they tend to be the closest they have to something like an Eldritch or Theurge thanks to intensive modifications and applications of arcane devices to their bodies. Many of them excel at destroying masses of foe with a blast of their eldritch weaponry.
- The Kola are a new phenomena in Boyar society and compete with the Autocossack for a 'niche': they are mechanical nobles which have chosen to have their bodies modified into a partially chariot-like form, allowing them a limited form of gliding flight. They are fast, precise but not the sturdiest of their kind.

Boyar don't really have 'gifts' in the traditional sense: rather, their gifts are approximations and abstractions of the innate abilities built into their mechanical bodies as well as modifications installed later in life. The average Boyar has two or three Lesser Gifts (or a single Greater Gift), with Moghust having up to five which may be Lesser or Greater Gifts. Uchen and Kola use their own tables.
These tables make use of the Lexicon of the Throne as well as this preview of the (fan-made) Librum de Verbis.
